This smooth, strongly aromatic cup of medium-bodied black tea comes from the mountainous Nilgiris district in India's southernmost state. FOP refers to the high quality of the tea which is comprised of primarily mature leaves tha are long, whole, and unbroken. These are nicely balanced with young leaves and tips which are the top two leaves of the plant and bud of the shoot. The buds often have a golden tip which is why the tea grade is considered "Flowery Orange Pekoe."
